Role Description The English Second Language Instructor is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza. The instructor will design and deliver interactive English lessons for learners at various proficiency levels, using communicative and learner-centered teaching methods. Daily tasks include preparing lesson plans, creating and adapting teaching materials, assessing learner progress, and providing constructive feedback. The instructor will also contribute to curriculum improvements, participate in team meetings and training sessions, and support learners through tutoring, workshops, and community activities. Collaboration with other instructors to maintain high teaching standards and a positive learning environment is expected.
Qualifications

  • Strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and manage classroom dynamics effectively.
  • Experience in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and familiarity with best practices in ESL/EFL instruction.
  • Competence in Curriculum Development and lesson planning to create structured, goal-oriented learning programs.
  • Background in Linguistics or applied language studies to support accurate instruction in grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Relevant teaching certification (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) or equivalent training is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field is beneficial.
  • Ability to work on-site in Giza, demonstrate cultural sensitivity, and support an inclusive, learner-focused environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
