About the Role
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Independent Contractor
We're looking for passionate English Learning Coaches who enjoy inspiring young learners and creating positive online classroom experiences. You'll deliver live English lessons using our curriculum while helping students strengthen their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in an encouraging environment.
What You'll Do
Deliver Engaging Lessons
- Teach live online English classes for children in one-on-one and small group settings.
- Deliver lessons using Nao Now's curriculum and teaching resources.
- Create a welcoming, interactive classroom that encourages participation.
- Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs and proficiency levels.
Support Student Growth
- Help students build confidence in speaking English.
- Encourage active participation and meaningful communication.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and motivating learning experience.
Maintain Professional Standards
- Teach according to your committed weekly schedule.
- Complete lesson notes and required class documentation.
- Maintain a professional online classroom environment.
- Collaborate with the Nao Now team to ensure a high-quality student experience.
Qualifications
- Excellent spoken and written English with clear pronunciation.
- Previous experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or working with children is preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom engagement skills.
- Comfortable using online teaching platforms and digital learning tools.
- Patient, reliable, and adaptable when working with young learners.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet teaching environment.
- Computer or laptop with a webcam and headset.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
- TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or similar teaching certifications are an advantage.
Compensation
- Earn the equivalent of $20 USD per teaching hour.
- Payment is made per completed 25-minute lesson.
- Compensation is based on qualifications, experience, and evaluation performance.
- Curriculum and teaching materials are fully provided.
- No unpaid lesson preparation required.
- Training and onboarding are unpaid.
Schedule Requirements
- Minimum availability of 10 teaching hours per week.
- Available during Monday to Friday, 5:30 PM – 10:00 PM KST (Korea Standard Time).
- Minimum 3-month commitment.
- Consistent weekly availability is required.
