Role Description The English Language Instructor is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu. The instructor will deliver English language lessons, prepare lesson plans, and design learning materials aligned with learners’ academic and study-abroad goals. Daily responsibilities include conducting interactive classes, assessing learner progress, providing feedback, assisting with interview prepration and supporting learners in developing reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. The instructor will also assist in exam preparation (such as IELTS or TOEFL or PTE as applicable), maintain accurate records of learner performance, and collaborate with the counseling team to align language training with visa and admission requirements. The role involves maintaining a supportive classroom environment and participating in continuous improvement of teaching methodologies and curricula.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong English Teaching, Teaching, and Language Teaching skills.
- Candidates should possess solid Education knowledge and experience in instructional planning and classroom management.
- Candidates should possess clear and effective Writing skills for academic and exam-focused content.
- Proficiency in English language (near-native fluency preferred) with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Relevant teaching certification or training in English language instruction (e.g., TESOL, TEFL, CELTA) is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience preparing learners for standardized English tests (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL, PTE) is an advantage.
- Ability to work respectfully with learners from diverse backgrounds and support inclusive, learner-centered instruction.
