Position: ENGG 212 Instructor at University
Shape future engineers as a Sessional Instructor for ENGG 212 at the University of Calgary. Teach fluid behavior principles in a live classroom setting during the Summer 2026 term.

The Schulich School of Engineering is seeking a qualified instructor to teach ENGG 212:
Fundamentals of Fluid Behavior. This in-person course covers essential fluid properties, phase transformations, fluid mechanics, and engineering applications. Successful candidates will have a graduate engineering degree and prior experience instructing undergraduates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures on fluid behavior and mechanics

• Guide lab sessions focusing on practical applications

• Facilitate tutorials to enhance student understanding

• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback

• Collaborate with academic staff on course delivery

Requirements:

• Graduate degree in Engineering required

• Background in fluid dynamics or related subjects

• Experience teaching undergraduate engineering courses

• Comfortable teaching in person

• Strong communication and leadership skills
