Starting with training on May 25th, this part-time role lasts until Labour Day, averaging around 30 hours per week. You will drive the Kinsmen Express II Train, lead pond-dipping experiences, and help at summer camps, making each visitor’s experience memorable. Candidates should possess a friendly demeanor and a remarkable ability to engage with children.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive the Kinsmen Express II Train for tours
• Facilitate pond-dipping programs for educational purposes
• Host birthday parties as a zoo interpreter
• Support summer camp activities when needed
• Present information clearly and enthusiastically to visitors
Requirements:
• Valid Driver’s License required with acceptable driver’s abstract
• Criminal Record Check upon job offer
• Strong speaking skills and enthusiastic presentation style
• Enjoy working outdoors with families and children
• Flexible availability for varied workdays
