Job details Salary 40,000 to 50,000 annually (To be negotiated) / 400 hours per year
Terms of employment:
Part time
Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work setting Responsibilities Discuss results and students’ progress with them, their parents and school officials
Evaluate and document students’ progress
Participate in educational conferences and teacher training workshops
Participate in staff meetings
Supervise teaching assistants and train student teachers
Assign and correct homework
Develop course content
Identify childrens individual learning needs
Lead students in activities to promote their physical, mental and social development and their school readiness
Prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help
Prepare subject material for presentation according to an approved curriculum
Prepare, administer and correct tests
Teach students using lessons, discussions, audio-visual presentations and field trips
Supervise, plan and administer programs of religious education
Provide religious education, spiritual guidance and moral support
Tasks Attend educational conferences and workshops
Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses Provincial or Territorial Teaching Certificate
