Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Grade 1 Co-Teacher located in the Leaside neighbourhood of Toronto, ON. The teacher will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging lesson plans, teaching core subjects to Grade 1 students, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Additional responsibilities include assessing student progress, maintaining regular communication with parents, and adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in curriculum development and implementation in Elementary Education
- Strong teaching skills with a focus on engaging and inclusive practices
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, colleagues, and parents
- An educational background in Education or a related field
- Dedication to fostering a supportive, collaborative, and inspiring learning environment
- OCT and/or R. ECE qualifications are assets
