Job Description: Elementary School Teacher Position Summary The Elementary School Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering instructional lessons that support the academic, social, and emotional development of students. The teacher creates a positive learning environment, implements curriculum standards, and works collaboratively with staff and families to support student success.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with district and state curriculum standards.
- Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student learning and respect.
- Assess and monitor student progress using a variety of assessment tools and strategies.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Manage classroom behavior and establish clear expectations for student conduct.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and administrators to improve instructional practices.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.
- Support the social and emotional development of students.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid state teaching certification for elementary education.
- Knowledge of instructional strategies, classroom management, and student assessment practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and school staff.

- Classroom setting in an elementary school.
- Daily interaction with students, teachers, administrators, and families.
