Community Montessori is a tuition free, Charter (public) school in New Albany, Indiana. We are seeking outstanding individuals who possess a true love and respect for children and have a passion for Montessori philosophy.
We are a holistic school serving children from birth through high school graduation. Our learning environments are multi-age (birth to 3 years, 3- to 6-years, 6- to 9-years, 9- to 12-years, 12- to 14-years, and 14- to 18-years old).
This is a full time, 10-month position as a co-teacher in a Lower Elementary (ages 6-9 or 1st-3rd grade) classroom. The hired individual will work with a co-teacher to support 31 children in an authentic Montessori environment. Interested candidates should possess a true love and respect for children and have a strong interest in the Montessori method. Montessori credential is preferred but not required; we will support the right candidate in receiving the appropriate training.
