Enrich the learning experience of elementary students with Oxford Learning Mississauga Central as a part-time Tutor. This role emphasizes teaching in-person and enhancing students’ skills in language and social studies.
We are looking for motivated part-time teacher-tutors with a commitment to educational excellence and availability during evenings and Saturdays. At Oxford Learning, you’ll engage with students in grades Kindergarten to 8, helping them thrive academically through well-defined lesson structures. Your reliability will directly contribute to their success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide instruction to up to 3 students at varying levels
• Follow Oxford Learning’s proven teaching philosophies
• Document student progress through post-lesson notes
• Communicate ongoing updates daily to students
• Foster a supportive learning environment at all times
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in education
• Previous tutoring experience at the K-8 level
• Excellent communication in English, both written and oral
• Ability to manage working with several students simultaneously
• Access to reliable transportation for in-person sessions
