Ovando School District #11 is looking for a qualified elementary teacher beginning the 2025-2025 school year.Â
Must hold a current K-8 Elementary Teaching Certificate in the state of Montana.
Ovando Public Schools is a two room school district located in rural Ovando, approximately 50 miles East of Missoula. Enrollment is currently at about 21 students. Ovando is in the heart of the Blackfoot Valley amongst some of the premier agriculture, hunting, fishing and recreation land in the state providing access for a multitude of outdoor education opportunities. Ovando is an active rural community that is very supportive of education and school activities. Our students benefit from 1:1 computer and iPad access with other technology available. Small class sizes allow for dynamic and differentiated multi-age instruction enhancing both the learning and teaching experience.
