Strategies for Learning is seeking experienced Educational Specialists to provide individualized learning support to students with learning differences.

- Are unable to commit to a consistent weekly schedule
- Limited experience supporting students with learning disabilities/differences
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one academic remediation using evidence-based strategies
- Provide executive functioning support
- Individualize instruction based on student strengths and needs
- Build strong, professional relationships with students, parents, and team members
- Communicate progress and collaborate with the Strategies for Learning team
Key Availability
- Ability to work in person at our Oakland learning clinic
- After-school hours and/or weekends (with opportunities for school-day support)
- Availability of approx 8 hours per week
- Commitment of at least one full school year
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (B.A./B.S.)
- Background in Special Education or related field strongly preferred
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience
- Experience supporting students with learning differences
Compensation
- $65/hour to start, with opportunities for raises and bonuses based on experience, performance, and longevity
