about us
Akelius Languages is an educational organization with offices in Berlin and Cyprus.
We are developing a language learning application,
which is currently available in twelve languages,
as well as books and other analog products.

role
You can be based in our Nicosia office,
or work from our offices in Limassol or Larnaca.
key responsibilities
- develop engaging online and analog learning content
- review, edit, and optimize the quality, accuracy, and instructional effectiveness of language courses
- enhance our blended learning approach, and all the other pedagogical principles we apply
- ensure all content meets high standards of language, clarity, and relevance
You will also support the enhancement of courses in other subjects, like math, vocational training, and more to follow in the future.
Additional tasks may arise depending on workload and project priorities.
who you are
We are looking for a highly organized, fluent English speaker with exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach.
Professional experience in education and teaching is a must.
education
- you have a university degree or relevant education in Education, Pedagogy or a related field
- excellent proficiency in written and spoken English
- knowledge of other languages is an advantage
experience
- significant experience in education and teaching
- excellent knowledge of didactics, pedagogy, educational methodology, learning principles and teaching methods
- working knowledge of the MS Office suite
