Position: Full-Time Educational Assistant Christian School
Support high school students at Vancouver Christian School as a full-time Educational Assistant. Help foster an inclusive learning environment and promote student growth from 8:15 am to 4:15 pm, Monday to Friday.
Located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Vancouver Christian School serves 945 students within a Christ-centred educational framework. In this full-time role, you will collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure every student’s needs are met. The position emphasizes effective communication, organizational skills, and a commitment to student advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with teachers to support individualized learning
• Advocate for inclusive education for all students
• Assist in implementing IEPs and specialized plans
• Facilitate life-skills programs and community integration
• Maintain open communication with students and staff
Requirements:
• EA Certification preferred or relevant education
• Degree or extensive experience in related fields
• 1,000 hours of ABA training documented
• Commitment to continuous personal and professional growth
• Grounded in Christian faith and values
