Job Description

Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in making things run smoothly behind the scenes? The Department of Anaesthesia at NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine is looking for a driven and organised Education Coordinator to be the operational backbone of our undergraduate (UG) medical education programme.

In this role, you will work closely with the Anaesthesia UG Director to coordinate all aspects of clinical postings, examinations, and curriculum delivery across NUS, NUH, and partner healthcare institutions. Your work directly shapes the learning experience of future doctors — and the impact is real.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Phase IV Anaesthesia postings at NUS, NUH, and other healthcare institutions — scheduling tutors, managing venues, facilitating OT access, and running daily zoom tutorials
  • Own end-to-end examination logistics: EOPT, MEQ (as anchor department), MCQ, and CSE — from question collation and platform uploads (Examsoft, Elentra, SOMIMMS) through to marking, results release, and audit reports
  • Support teaching across Phases I–V including airway simulations, PBLs, CSFPs, and patient safety modules
  • Maintain teaching hours records and liaise with NUH Medical Affairs (Education) on teaching awards
  • Coordinate monthly UG meetings across all hospital UG directors, manage CE/CFS appointments, and handle admin for local and overseas elective students
  • Serve as a reliable first point of contact for students, tutors, and partner institutions on all posting and examination matters

Who You'll Work With

You'll be embedded within a collegial team and interact daily with clinical faculty across specialties, medical students, and education administrators at NUS, NUH, and partner public healthcare institutions (PHIs). Reporting to the Anaesthesia UG Education Director, you'll have meaningful visibility across the full undergraduate medical curriculum
