Education Assistant (junior Primary & Intervention)
Position Details
Queen of Apostles Primary School is a vibrant, single-stream Catholic primary school catering for boys and girls from Pre-Kindergarten to Year Six. Situated in Riverton, the school is known for its welcoming community, strong Catholic identity and close partnership with the Parish and families.

We are seeking a suitably qualified, dynamic, professional and creative Education Assistant who is passionate about student learning and wellbeing, committed to excellence in teaching practice, and eager to contribute positively to a collegial and forward-thinking team. The successful applicant will value strong relationships, embrace evidence-informed practice, and work collaboratively with staff, students and families to support the mission and life of the school. This position commences from Term 3.

- An understanding of the developmental needs of young children
- Well developed interpersonal and organisational skills
- A current Senior First Aid Certificate would be desirable
Qualifications Required
- Certificate III or IV Teacher Assistant Qualification
Highly Desirable Experience / Training
- Experience working in Junior Primary classrooms
- Experience implementing literacy intervention programs (e.g. MiniLit, MacqLit, InitiaLit, Toe by Toe)
