About the Role
We are seeking an EdTech Content Writer (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on educational content creation, curriculum-aligned learning materials, question-answer generation, STEM education, and multilingual learning.
In this role, you will evaluate AI-generated educational content, textbook-based explanations, assessments, lesson summaries, and learning resources. Your expertise will help improve AI systems designed for personalized learning, curriculum-aligned education, and AI-assisted tutoring.
This position is ideal for educators, academic content writers, instructional designers, subject matter experts, tutors, and curriculum specialists with experience developing educational content for Indian school curricula and competitive examinations.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing real-world educational content development scenarios.
- Annotate and evaluate AI-generated lessons, explanations, assessments, question banks, and learning materials.
- Assess AI outputs for factual accuracy, curriculum alignment, pedagogical quality, conceptual clarity, and learner appropriateness.
- Develop and review educational content aligned with CBSE, ICSE, NCERT, State Board, IB, or Cambridge (IGCSE) curricula, depending on subject expertise.
- Create and evaluate textbook-grounded questions, answers, summaries, explanations, worksheets, and assessments based on NCERT and State Board textbooks.
- Assess AI-generated STEM content for conceptual accuracy, including JEE and NEET-level Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics where applicable.
- Review educational explanations for clarity, age appropriateness, and instructional effectiveness.
- Evaluate AI-generated educational content translated or explained in Hindi and/or regional Indian languages to ensure clarity and learner comprehension.
- Identify factual inaccuracies, curriculum misalignment, pedagogical gaps, and conceptual errors in AI-generated outputs.
- Provide structured feedback to improve AI performance in educational content generation and tutoring workflows.
- Review peer-developed deliverables to maintain quality and consistency standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Arts, Commerce, English, or a relevant academic discipline.
- B.Ed., M.Ed., or equivalent teaching qualification is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in educational content writing, curriculum development, teaching, tutoring, instructional design, or academic publishing.
- Developing content aligned with specific Indian education boards such as CBSE, ICSE, NCERT, State Boards, IB, or Cambridge (IGCSE).
- Creating educational content with JEE/NEET-level STEM rigor, particularly in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics (where applicable).
- Preparing textbook-grounded questions and answers based on NCERT and State Board textbooks.
- Writing clear, learner-friendly explanations in Hindi and/or regional Indian languages alongside English content.
- Designing worksheets, quizzes, practice questions, lesson summaries, and conceptual explanations for school and competitive exam learners
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated educational content for conceptual accuracy and curriculum alignment.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with EdTech companies, educational publishers, coaching institutes, schools, universities, or online learning platforms.
- Experience developing content for competitive examinations such as JEE, NEET, Olympiads, NTSE, CUET, or other entrance exams.
- Familiarity with NEP 2020, competency-based education, and digital learning platforms.
- Experience creating bilingual or multilingual educational resources.
- Experience with AI-assisted content creation, question generation, or educational technology tools.
- Publications or contributions to textbooks, workbooks, question banks, or digital learning resources are highly desirable.
