Key Responsibilities (Including But Not Limited To)
- Plan and deliver engaging Economics lessons across Cambridge IGCSE, AS/A Level, and IB DP
- Develop students' understanding of economic theories, concepts, and real-world applications
- Foster critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and evidence-based decision-making
- Prepare students for Cambridge and IB assessments, including coursework and Internal Assessments where applicable
- Integrate current economic events and global perspectives into classroom learning
- Design lesson plans, assessments, and learning resources aligned with curriculum requirements
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Support students in research projects, Internal Assessments, and Extended Essays
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to enhance student achievement
- Engage in continuous professional development (CPD)
- Contribute to academic enrichment programmes and extracurricular activities
