This is a full-time on-site role for an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher, located in Heliopolis. The EYFS Teacher will plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons based on the EYFS curriculum to foster the development and learning of young children. Responsibilities include creating a nurturing classroom environment, preparing and assessing activities, observing and documenting children's progress, and maintaining open communication with parents and caregivers. Collaboration with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive educational experience is also an essential component of the role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in child development principles, early years education frameworks such as EYFS, and lesson planning
- Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills for building trust with children, parents, and colleagues
- Experience in applying creative approaches to teaching, including using storytelling, art, play-based learning, and technology
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail with assessment documentation, and the ability to multi-task effectively within a busy classroom environment
- Relevant teaching certifications in early childhood education or a related field; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Experience working in an early years educational setting is highly desirable
- Passion for early years teaching, with a nurturing and patient approach to working with children
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
