Company Description Inspiration School Luanda (ISL) is a co-educational, English-medium day school in Luanda offering the internationally recognized Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) curriculum. The school currently serves Early Years, Primary, and Lower Secondary learners aged 3 to 13 and plans to expand into a full Secondary School. ISL is dedicated to nurturing independent learners who are prepared to thrive in a diverse and rapidly changing global society. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site teaching role based in Luanda for Early Years, Primary, and Secondary (ICT & Humanities) Teachers. Educators will plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum, ensuring clear learning objectives and differentiated instruction. Daily responsibilities include assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to reports for families and school leadership. Teachers will create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment, support students’ social and emotional development, and collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and whole-school initiatives. The role also includes participating in staff meetings, professional learning, school events, and regular communication with parents and caregivers.
Qualifications
- Recognized teaching qualification and status (e.g., Qualified Teacher or equivalent) with proven classroom Teaching experience across relevant age phases.
- Strong Lesson Planning capabilities, including curriculum alignment, differentiation, and assessment for learning.
- Subject knowledge in core areas such as Mathematics and literacy, with the ability to adapt content to diverse learning needs.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear classroom communication, effective feedback, and constructive engagement with families and colleagues.
- Experience or familiarity with the Cambridge Assessment International Education curriculum is highly desirable.
- Commitment to inclusive, student-centered practices and the ability to support learners with varied backgrounds and abilities.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional language skills are an advantage.
- Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and whole-school initiatives.
