Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Early Learning Team and Developmental PreK Team
Prepare and teach all Early Learning content/standards
Efficient in data protocol and planning with MTSS
Help to plan for Intervention and Enrichment groups for all students
Create instructional resources for use in the classroom
Create a positive educational climate for students to learn in
Participate in ongoing professional development.
Maintain grade books and prepare progress reports quarterly
Use common assessments to drive instruction
Utilize various curriculum resources
Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
Observe, evaluate, and report student’s performance.
Manage student behavior in the classroom by invoking approved disciplinary procedures.
Must register as staff in iLead prior to employment.
Must have a physical, drug screening, TB test, and fingerprinting through Identogo completed prior to employment.
Fingerprinting (Required every 3 years)
Must submit consent for background check through ILEAD prior to employment.
Must complete 20 hours of early childhood training, including specific required trainings through On My Way PreK/ILEAD
Contract Days: 184 days/year
Salary: Negotiable
Education And/or Work Experience Requirements
Experience Preferred
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Associates Degree or CDA Preferred
Able to work effectively and communicate with a wide range of students, staff and administration.
Strong human relations skills, including professional tact, diplomacy and presentation.
Multi-tasking ability and strong organizational skills.
Strong elementary level math and reading skills
Willingness to attend job training
Physical Requirements
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly on telephone
