Role Description The Early Childhood Teacher is an on-site role based at Play to Learn Toukley ELC in New South Wales, Australia. This role involves planning and delivering age-appropriate learning experiences that promote children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. The Early Childhood Teacher will design and implement curriculum aligned with relevant early childhood frameworks, observe and document children’s progress, and adapt activities to meet individual needs. Daily responsibilities include building positive relationships with children and families, maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment, collaborating with colleagues, and supporting center initiatives and events. The teacher will also participate in professional development, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of educational programs.

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Early Childhood Education and Child Development, with the ability to apply evidence-based practices to support holistic growth.
- Candidates should possess skills in Teaching and Curriculum Development, including planning, delivering, and evaluating engaging, play-based learning programs.
- Candidates should possess skills in Working With Children, including building trusting relationships, managing group dynamics, and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Early Childhood Education, or working towards an ECT degree, and current rights to work in Australia without restrictions.
