A Bachelor of Education and an Alberta Teaching Certificate are required. Collaborate with Elders and community members to enhance literacy and numeracy through play-based methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create developmentally appropriate lesson plans for young learners
• Foster skills using inquiry-driven learning experiences
• Include Stoney Nakoda language and culture in the curriculum
• Build relationships with families and community partners
• Utilize assessment tools for student learning evaluation
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education degree and Alberta Teaching Certificate
• Preferred experience in early childhood education
• Willingness to learn Stoney Nakoda culture
• Strong management skills and student-centered focus
• Team player within a diverse educational setting
