Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our child care team. Applicant MUST hold an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood or a related field.
Our Teacher assistants are responsible for providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for all children. This role focuses on supporting each child’s individual developmental needs while building positive relationships with families and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a warm, safe and loving classroom environment.
- Implement daily routines that encourage growth in physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Implement age-appropriate activities that foster curiosity, exploration, and early learning.
- Provide individualized attention and adapt care to meet each child’s unique needs.
- Ensure constant supervision of children while following all licensing regulations, safety protocols and all center policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of attendance, feeding, meal times and developmental milestones.
Skills
- Genuine love and patience for working with children.
- Strong communication skills with both children and adults.
- Ability to work as a part of a collaborative teaching team.
- Reliable, responsible, and committed to providing high quality infant care.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry children for diapering and movement between activities.
- Frequent bending, sitting on the floor, standing and engaging in active play.
Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
