Key Responsibilities
of Early Career Teacher (ECT):
Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
Foster a positive and
inclusive
learning environment
.
Assess, track, and provide feedback on student progress.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
Maintain strong classroom management and high expectations of student behaviour.
Engage in ongoing
professional development
and training opportunities.
Requirements of Early Career Teacher (ECT):
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
PGCE with a subject specialism in secondary
education
.
Completion of at least two training placements (with mandatory reference checks).
Strong classroom management skills and
adaptability
.
A genuine passion for
education
and inspiring young learners.
Commitment to continuous
professional development
.
An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
