The Mandate
– Provide academic leadership and strategic direction to the institute
– Strengthen teaching, research, and academic quality in line with leading B-schools
– Lead curriculum development and program innovation aligned with emerging industry needs
– Build and nurture a high-quality faculty body and research ecosystem
– Deepen industry engagement across programs, executive education, and placements
– Enhance institutional reputation, rankings, and collaborations (national and international)
– Ensure effective governance, regulatory compliance, and institutional processes
Reporting Structure
The Director will be reporting to the Management Council.
Eligibility Criteria
PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline from a recognised institution (mandatory)
For Academic Leaders:
– 15–20+ years of experience in teaching / research / academic administration
– At least 5–10 years in senior academic leadership roles
– Proven track record of research, publications, and academic contributions
– Experience in institution building, academic administration, and governance
For Industry Leaders with Academic Orientation:
– 15–20+ years of senior leadership experience in relevant sectors
– Demonstrated engagement with academia through teaching, visiting roles, advisory boards, or collaborations
– Strong appreciation of academic governance, curriculum design, and talent development
– Ability to bridge industry and academia effectively
Common Requirements
– Strong familiarity with AICTE/UGC / NIRF regulations and accreditation frameworks
– Demonstrated ability to engage with industry, boards, and external stakeholders
– Strategic vision with execution discipline
