Role Description The Digital Technology Instructor is a full-time, on-site role based in Port Harcourt. The instructor will design and deliver engaging lessons on digital technologies, AI concepts, and related tools for learners in schools and business settings. Daily responsibilities include developing and updating instructional materials, demonstrating software and digital tools, facilitating hands-on projects, and assessing learner progress through assignments and feedback. The role involves collaborating with other educators and technical staff to align content with organizational goals, supporting participants in applying digital skills to real-world scenarios, and staying current with emerging technologies. The instructor will also participate in training programs, workshops, and curriculum improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality, inclusive learning experiences.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Curriculum Development and Education skills for creating structured, outcomes-focused learning programs.
- Candidates should possess Instructional Design skills to develop effective, learner-centered materials and activities.
- Candidates should possess Communication skills to explain complex digital concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Candidates should possess Training skills to facilitate workshops, coaching sessions, and practical demonstrations.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Education, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field are beneficial.
- Experience teaching or training in digital technology, AI, or ICT environments is preferred.
