Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a DevOps Instructor at Abuja Data School, based in Abuja. The DevOps Instructor will be responsible for delivering engaging lectures, conducting practical training sessions, and mentoring students to develop their skills in DevOps practices. Additional responsibilities include designing curriculum materials, assessing student progress, and sharing industry best practices to prepare students for real-world challenges in DevOps and software development.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Information Technology, including cloud services, configuration management, and CI/CD pipelines
- Demonstrated expertise in Teaching, Training, and Lecturing with the ability to explain technical concepts effectively
- Proficiency in Software Development and DevOps tools and methodologies
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to mentor and inspire students, fostering strong learning outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience as a DevOps professional or in instructing DevOps-related topics is a plus
