Title: Debate & Public Speaking Youth Coach – Vietnam
Company: English Enhancement
Location: Hanoi, Hanoi, Vietnam
Summer is ramping up fast and we're looking for 2-3 passionate coaches/teachers.
We run debate, public speaking, and skill-building programs for students from age 9-15. Many students go on to compete at regional, national, and international levels in debate competitions.
Our main goal is developing real global thinkers: kids who can feel confident on stage, challenge ideas, and engage with the world.
Online positions are available now. In-person positions in Hanoi and HCMC are opening up soon. Please inform us if you're also interested to join in-person coaching.
What we're looking for
A solid debate background is essential (WSC, WSDC, British Parliamentary, legal studies, or similar.) You've competed, coached, or both, or you are eager to learn the debate structure/rules and understand how good argumentation is built.
Beyond debate, public speaking and skill-building are core to what we do, this is generally the entry way for young learners to get involved with our course.
We push students to think globally and we want teachers who are confident to do the same. Engage in discussion with the students, share global news with them, ask them to think critically about new policies or rules in their lives.
Native-level English is required.
You should be based in Vietnam.
Peak class times are weekday evenings from 18:00 to 21:00, with weekends possible.
Tech comfort is important –> We use Canva, Zoom, and other online platforms. Nothing extreme, just someone who is comfortable with online ed-tech tools and happy to figure things out.
Small class sizes, 6-8 students for online classes.
Who fits here
A positive, energetic person who's passionate about teaching and motivated to grow. Experience in teaching is important, and especially in the debate / public speaking area.
We want people who want to grow with us 🙂
Send a CV and a short one-minute intro video directly to us. Informal is fine for the video — we just want to hear your personality.
I look forward to meeting you soon!
