Position: Dean / HOD Law Course
Head of Department (HOD) – Law
The Head of Department (Law) will be responsible for providing academic leadership, administrative oversight, and strategic direction to the Law Department. The role involves ensuring the effective delivery of the curriculum in alignment with university and Bar Council of India (BCI) norms, while maintaining high standards of teaching, discipline, and academic excellence. The HOD will supervise faculty members, monitor classroom delivery, ensure timely conduct of lectures, and track the execution of academic activities such as guest lectures, seminars, moot courts, and workshops.
The position requires close monitoring of student attendance, performance, and overall development, along with fostering a culture of research, legal awareness, and practical exposure through industry interactions and academic initiatives.
The HOD will also be responsible for faculty management, including allocation of workload, mentoring, performance evaluation, and ensuring accountability within the department. In addition, the role involves coordination with admissions and marketing teams by participating in counseling sessions, academic promotions, and institutional branding initiatives. The candidate is expected to maintain all necessary academic documentation, ensure compliance with regulatory bodies, and submit regular reports to the management.
Preference will be given to candidates with significant teaching and administrative experience in reputed educational institutions or universities, along with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Eligibility
The applicant must possess an LL.M. from a recognized institution, with a Ph.D. in Law preferred as per regulatory requirements, and should have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, preferably with prior exposure to reputed educational institutions or universities.
Candidates with proven academic leadership or administrative experience will be given preference.
