Role Description The Dean-Academics is a full-time, on-site role based at Noida, India, responsible for overseeing academic governance and quality across the institution. This role includes leading curriculum planning and review, ensuring alignment with regulatory and accreditation standards, and setting academic policies and procedures. The Dean-Academics will supervise and mentor faculty, coordinate teaching schedules, and support instructional quality through training and performance reviews. Daily responsibilities include monitoring student outcomes, leading academic committees, managing examination and assessment processes, and driving initiatives to improve teaching effectiveness and program relevance. The role also involves collaborating with senior leadership on strategic academic planning, fostering industry and academic partnerships, and representing the institution in academic forums.
Qualifications
- Advanced academic credentials with a doctoral degree preferably in Computer Science/ Management discipline from a reputed Institute, with strong academic and research experience.
- Proven experience in academic leadership or administration, such as department head, academic coordinator, or similar role.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum design, program review, and academic policy development.
- Strong skills in faculty management, mentoring, performance evaluation, and team building.
- Excellent communication, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Familiarity with accreditation requirements, regulatory frameworks, and quality assurance processes in higher education.
- Ability to use data and analytics to evaluate academic performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Comfort with educational technologies, learning management systems, and innovative teaching methods.
