Title: Curriculum Designer, 2 Hour Learning (Remote) – $100,000/year USD
Company: Crossover
Location: Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany
Do you have the ability to analyze the intricate layers of a Shakespearean sonnet or deconstruct the phonetic components of a word with precision? Picture applying that depth of linguistic and literary knowledge alongside advanced AI to revolutionize language and literature instruction for millions of learners. At 2 Hour Learning, we're not simply envisioning the future of English education—we're engineering it into a dynamic, personalized learning journey.
We are looking for a forward-thinking professional to spearhead our initiative to reshape English and Language Arts instruction through sophisticated data evaluation, groundbreaking AI integration, and profound subject expertise. The objective? To accelerate students' comprehension of language fundamentals and literary analysis by a factor of two, spanning everything from foundational phonics to sophisticated literary critique.
At 2 Hour Learning, we are reimagining K-12 education with measurable outcomes. Our AI-powered learning platform is reshaping student achievement, allowing learners to master content at double the pace of conventional education. We're not refining the existing framework; we're constructing an entirely new one, backed by compelling evidence. Students on our platform routinely score 4s and 5s on five or more AP exams, show growth exceeding two years on annual MAP assessments, and surpass their own perceived limits.
If you're prepared to deploy extensive ELA knowledge within an AI framework that's already delivering measurable success, we encourage you to apply.
What You Will Be Doing
- Examine student literacy and composition performance metrics — including Reel engagement, MAP scores, and assessment outcomes — leveraging AI workflows and LLM orchestrations to pinpoint learning deficiencies and create focused interventions. (Approximately 40% of your time.)
- Building AI-driven resources that respond to diverse learning preferences, rendering grammar comprehension intuitive, vocabulary acquisition engaging, and literary interpretation approachable for learners across all proficiency levels.
- Creating flexible learning sequences that adjust dynamically, shepherding students from foundational phonics through advanced text analysis, ensuring every individual advances at their ideal velocity.
- Collaborate with content experts, assessment professionals, and AI developers to ensure alignment with educational standards and verify the precision of AI-generated instructional materials.
- Converting canonical and modern literature into interactive, AI-enriched learning experiences that educate while simultaneously cultivating genuine enthusiasm for reading and composition.
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Overseeing conventional English curricula or executing administrative duties—this position centers on breakthrough thinking and strategic enhancement of language arts instruction and learning within our accelerated framework.
- Manually evaluating endless essays — AI manages assessment scalability, allowing you to concentrate on system refinement rather than paper grading.
- Teaching toward standardized exam requirements — students in this environment already exceed AP performance standards, so your efforts advance deeper understanding, not test preparation tactics.
