Title: Curriculum Designer, 2 Hour Learning (Remote) – $100,000/year USD

Company: Crossover

Location: Philippines

Do you possess the ability to detect nuanced meaning in a Shakespearean sonnet while also deconstructing the phonetic architecture of language? Picture applying that depth of literary and linguistic knowledge alongside advanced AI to reshape how millions of learners achieve mastery in language and literature. At 2 Hour Learning, we're not simply documenting the future of English education—we're engineering it into an adaptive, immersive learning environment.

We are looking for a forward-thinking professional to drive our work in revolutionizing English and Language Arts instruction through sophisticated data analysis, pioneering AI integration, and comprehensive subject expertise. Your objective? To accelerate student comprehension of language structures and literary interpretation by a factor of two, spanning foundational phonics through advanced critical analysis.

At 2 Hour Learning, we are rebuilding K-12 education with measurable outcomes. Our AI-powered learning platform is changing the way students acquire knowledge, allowing them to achieve subject mastery at double the rate of conventional education. We're not adjusting the existing model; we're constructing an entirely new one, backed by evidence that validates its effectiveness. Students on our platform routinely earn 4s and 5s on five or more AP exams, show growth exceeding two years on annual MAP assessments, and surpass their own perceived limits of achievement.

If you are prepared to deploy deep ELA knowledge within an AI framework that's already delivering proven outcomes, submit your application today.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Examine student reading and writing performance metrics — including Reel engagement, MAP scores, and assessment outcomes — leveraging AI workflows and LLM orchestrations to pinpoint learning deficiencies and create focused interventions. (This comprises approximately 40% of your role.)
  • Building AI-driven tools that respond to diverse learning preferences, transforming grammar into an intuitive subject, vocabulary acquisition into an engaging process, and literary analysis into an accessible skill for all students.
  • Creating adaptive learning sequences that adjust in real-time, leading students from phonics fundamentals through complex text interpretation, ensuring every learner advances at the most effective pace.
  • Collaborate with subject matter specialists, assessment professionals, and AI engineers to ensure content alignment with curriculum standards and confirm the accuracy of AI-produced materials.
  • Converting classic and modern literature into interactive, AI-enriched learning experiences that both educate and inspire students' enthusiasm for reading and writing.

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Overseeing conventional English curricula or performing administrative duties—this position centers on innovation and strategic enhancement of language arts instruction within our accelerated framework.
  • Manually grading large volumes of essays — AI manages assessment scale so you can concentrate on refining the system rather than evaluating individual papers.
  • Teaching toward standardized test requirements — students in this environment already exceed AP performance standards, allowing your efforts to focus on enriching mastery rather than test preparation.

Curriculum Designer Key Responsibilities

  • Basic coding abilities in any programming language
  • Experience designing, implementing, or using AI systems for tasks such as content generation, data analysis, or adaptive learning using the LLM APIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and derive actionable insights from it
