Responsibilities
- Meet briefly at the start of the course and coordinate with the supervising professor by phone or email as needed.
- Co‑facilitate chat‑based discussions.
- Proctor examinations.
- Grade the analysis, proposal, and group presentation, applying grading rubrics and providing clear, structured feedback.
- Maintain grade records and assist with final grade calculations.
- Handle all work from within Ottawa for the entire duration of the course.
- Prepare for potential changes in teaching or working methods due to health or other reasons.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of International Training and Development for Sustainability.
- Ability to apply grading rubrics and provide clear, structured feedback.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Minimum C.G.P.A. of 7.0.
- Minimum grade of A‑ in ADM 4338 or equivalent course (describe topics of the equivalent course).
- Prior experience as a marker is highly desirable.
- Fluency in reading and written English.
- Prior HR knowledge (preferred).
- Experience with online course delivery (preferred).
- Experience with online videoconferencing tools such as Microsoft Teams (preferred).
Preferred Candidate Attributes
- Higher academic grades.
- Prior teaching assistant or marker experience for this course.
- Enrolment in a Telfer program.
Applicants must have access to a computer, high‑speed internet, microphone, and webcam. Contracts may be reallocated among tasks during the semester.
