- Position Summary:
This course is an exploration of local and global hip hop cultures, politics and identities. The instructor will be expected to teach in both critical analysis and facilitate workshops in hip hop cultural production.
- Position Requirements:
Must possess a MA, MFA, or PhD, or equivalent degree
. - Experience:
Evidence of experience facilitating hands‑on workshops around hip hop production (e.g., beat making, DJing); awareness of key issues and critical theory relevant to hip hop cultures; teaching at a university level; classroom technology management.
- Must provide a sample syllabus relevant to the course description.

Faculty Sessional – Salary Range As per URFA Collective Agreement. - Work Hours:
Wednesdays 14h30‑17h15 on campus.
