About KreateIsh
KreateIsh is a Tokyo-based education company specialising in creative English and future-ready skills for children. We run afterschool programs and seasonal camps at international schools across Tokyo, blending English learning with AI literacy, sustainability, storytelling, mindfulness, and design thinking.
Our programs are built around four pillars: Creativity & Expression · Confidence & Communication · Future-Readiness & Innovation · Wellness & Global Awareness. We don't do textbook drills — every session is hands-on, purposeful, and student-led.
What you'll be teaching
Sessions may include any of our signature programs:
– Kreate with AI: guiding kids ages 9–15 through age-appropriate generative AI tools for storytelling, game design, and creative projects
– Mindful Me: emotional intelligence, journaling, and wellness habits for ages 3–15
– EcoCraft Lab: sustainability through hands-on art and upcycling projects for ages 4–12
– Globe Explorers: world cultures through art, music, food, and play for ages 5–12
– Innovation Lab (secondary): robotics, Shark Tank-style pitching, Manga & game design for middle schoolers
– Afterschool English: creative English sessions using our KreateIsh vocabulary app and custom curriculum
What the role looks like
– Deliver sessions on-site at international schools in Tokyo (afternoons, weekdays and/or Saturdays)
– Run week-long summer and winter camps (full-day, 5 hours/day)
– Follow detailed session plans provided by KreateIsh — no heavy lesson prep on your end
– Use our KreateIsh student vocabulary app and AI tools as part of lessons
– Share brief weekly session photos and updates with the KreateIsh team
– Communicate warmly with school coordinators and parents when needed
Who we're looking for
– Native or near-native English speaker (C2 level minimum)
– Experience teaching or working with children — preschool, primary, or secondary
– Comfortable using technology and AI tools in a classroom setting (training provided)
– Creative, adaptable, and genuinely enthusiastic about learning
– Reliable and communicative — you show up prepared and keep us informed
– Valid work authorisation in Japan (required)
A formal teaching certificate is not required. We care about how you connect with students and how curious you are about the world. Backgrounds in art, design, tech, wellness, or performance are very welcome.

– Competitive hourly rate, discussed at interview based on experience
