Position: CLSWFLJuly2026 – Casual Learning Support Worker (FL)
Location: Fraser Lake
Position Summary
Casual Learning Support Workers to support students in the Fraser Lake area. This is a casual position with no guaranteed hours.
Successful Candidate Will
- Work with school and district staff to support the individual needs of students
- Assist in the delivery of regular or alternate education programs for individuals or groups
- Advocate for students and participate in school-based teams as needed
Qualifications
- Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)
- Completion of an Education Assistant Certificate program
- Minimum of 6 months of experience working with children/youth with intellectual, behavioral, or multiple disabilities
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record (driver’s abstract required)
- WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures

The successful applicant must complete a Criminal Record Check through the Criminal Records Review Program (CRRP). Criminal Record Checks through local RCMP detachments will not be accepted. To expedite this process, we recommend setting up a BC Services Card Account in advance.
