Child Care Assistant Teacher (2s Room) Jobs in Danville, IN at Northview Christian Sonshine School
We are a Christian preschool in Danville looking for a full time teacher who will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for young children in our 2s class. The ideal candidate will have a passion for God, early childhood education, and a strong understanding of child development.
Some Key Responsibilities:
Assist with developing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
Create a positive classroom atmosphere
Supervise and interact with children throughout the day
Assist children with daily tasks
Communicate effectively with staff, leadership, parents and guardians
Maintain accurate records of children’s progress
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom
Sonshine is a non-profit, licensed childcare with children from 6 weeks to Pre-K during the day. Our care runs all year from 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Hourly pay is based on education and experience. You must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED. Both part time and full time positions are available, but full time preferred. Please contact us with questions.
