Role Overview

Amiown, Noida is looking for an experienced, dynamic, and passionate Centre Head to lead the overall functioning of the preschool. The Centre Head will be responsible for ensuring excellence in academics, administration, operations, admissions, parent engagement, staff development, compliance, and overall center performance.

The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills with experience in preschool or school administration and a passion for early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership

  • Ensure effective implementation of the Early Years curriculum and teaching-learning processes.
  • Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
  • Mentor, coach, and support teachers for continuous professional development.
  • Monitor lesson planning, assessments, documentation, and child progress.
  • Maintain high standards of teaching quality and classroom management.
  • Promote innovative, experiential, and child-centric learning practices.

Administration & Operations

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the center.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies, child safety norms, hygiene standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Manage infrastructure, maintenance, inventory, transport coordination (if applicable), and vendor management.
  • Prepare operational reports and maintain documentation.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of all administrative activities.

Admissions & Parent Relations

  • Lead admission counselling and conversion initiatives.
  • Conduct school tours and interact with prospective parents.
  • Build strong relationships with existing parents through regular communication.
  • Organize Parent Orientation Programmes, PTMs, workshops, and school events.
  • Address parent concerns professionally and ensure high parent satisfaction.

People Management

  • Recruit, induct, mentor, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and professional development sessions.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive work culture.
  • Ensure staff discipline, motivation, and engagement.

Centre Growth & Outreach

  • Support marketing and outreach initiatives to increase admissions.
  • Develop partnerships with local communities, corporates, and residential societies.
  • Organize promotional events, workshops, and awareness programmes.
  • Monitor enrolment targets and retention strategies.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure adherence to child protection, health, and safety policies.
  • Maintain all academic and administrative records.
  • Conduct regular audits and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Uphold the values, standards, and vision of the Amity Education Group.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's/Bachelor's Degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, or related field.
  • B.Ed./NTT/ECCE qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in preschool or school education.
  • At least 5 years in a leadership role such as Centre Head, Academic Coordinator, Vice Principal, or Principal.
