About The Role
We are looking for a Primary Mathematics & Computer Science Teacher to join academic team of a reputed CBSE school. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strong foundational numeracy, logical reasoning, and digital literacy skills among primary school students through engaging, student-centered learning experiences aligned with CBSE standards.
Key Responsibilities
Mathematics Teaching
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for primary-grade students.
- Develop students' understanding of fundamental mathematical concepts, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Assess student learning through assignments, projects, quizzes, and examinations.
Computer Science Teaching
- Introduce students to basic computer concepts, digital literacy, and responsible technology use.
- Conduct practical computer sessions and hands-on learning activities.
- Teach age-appropriate software applications, internet safety.
General Responsibilities
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and classroom activities aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and progress.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and provide constructive feedback on student development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and basic Computer Science concepts.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a recognized CBSE/ICSE school.
