Role Description The Assistant Professor role at Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad The role involves delivering high-quality lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in the assigned specialty, and participating in curriculum planning and continuous improvement. The Assistant Professor will guide and mentor students, supervise projects and dissertations, and support their academic and professional development. Responsibilities also include conducting and publishing research, contributing to departmental research initiatives, and seeking external funding where appropriate. The role further involves participating in academic committees, supporting accreditation and quality assurance activities, and engaging in clinical or laboratory responsibilities as applicable to the discipline.
Qualifications
A Master’s degree in Digital Health /Computer science / Robotics / IT / Health Informatics / Health
Data Science/ Biostatistics/Biomedical engineering/Cybersecurity, Digital Forensic or a related discipline, with at least 55% marks(or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) from a recognized
Indian university, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.Or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission in
above subjects
Desirable: Ph.D. in in Digital Health /Computer science / Robotics / IT / Health Informatics / Health
Data Science/ Biostatistics/Biomedical engineering, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensic
- Active involvement or interest in research, with evidence of publications in peer-reviewed journals or commitment to building a research profile.
- Strong communication, presentation, and academic writing skills, with the ability to engage and support a diverse student body.
- Commitment to ethical practice, student-centered learning, and continuous professional development.
- Familiarity with modern teaching-learning methods, educational technology, and outcome-based education is an advantage.
