Assistant Toddler Teacher – Kids At Heart North Canton

At Kids At Heart, our toddler program is built on structure, patience, and positive guidance. We’re looking for an Assistant Toddler Teacher who enjoys working as part of a team, brings a positive attitude each day, and helps create a safe, engaging environment for children to learn and grow.
This is a great role for someone who loves working with young children and wants to be part of a supportive, well-run classroom.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the Lead Teacher in managing a toddler classroom
- Help maintain daily routines, structure, and transitions
- Engage with children through play, activities, and learning experiences
- Assist with diapering, meals, and general classroom care
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment
- Communicate positively with team members and families
- Ensure compliance with all Ohio Department of Children and Youth (DCY) standards
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with toddlers or young children (preferred)
- Positive attitude, patience, and energy
- Reliable and team-oriented
- Willingness to learn and grow in early childhood education
- CDA or Early Childhood Education background (a plus, not required)

Compensation:
Pay is based on experience, education, and credentials, with opportunities for growth for the right candidate.
Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
