- Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or equivalent qualification recognized by Government; OR
- Matriculation Certification (Science) form Malaysian Ministry of Education, recognised by the Government, or an equivalent qualification recognised as comparable thereto; OR
- Diploma in Science (Applied Chemistry/Chemical Industry or Microbiology) recognised by the Government from any local institutions of higher learning or equivalent qualification.
- Good knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia and English in communicating and writing.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office Systems, electronic databases and websites.
- Good knowledge and interest science related items/equipment, topics/ issues, policies, procedures, operations, rules/ acts, safety, etc. would be advantage.
- Good experience in staff management, office/ laboratory administration, procurement/ purchasing procedures, office/laboratory administration, procurement/ purchasing procedures, office. Laboratory safety, quality management systems, scuba diving, vehicle and boat driving license, etc., would be and advantage.
- Have a high level of motivation, discipline, a pleasant personality and good interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in a team, committed and dedicated to work.
- Applicants should be a Malaysian citizen or hold relevant residence status.

LANGUAGE QUALIFICATION
All candidates must have obtained Credits (at least C) for Bahasa Malaysia and English (including oral examination) in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.

Provides technical and operational support to teaching laboratories by assisting the Science Officer and Head of Laboratory in the management and operation of teaching laboratories and scientific equipment. Responsibilities include supporting the preparation and implementation of practical classes and Final Year Project (FYP) activities. performing routine laboratory operations, conducting periodic maintenance of laboratory equipment, managing chemicals and gases, ensuring laboratory safety, supporting accreditation and quality assurance activities, and assisting in laboratory administration, documentation, and compliance to maintain a safe, efficient, and conducive learning environment.
