Role Description
JDBI is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor of Psychology for its Kolkata campus. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses, developing academic curricula, supervising student research, and fostering a positive learning environment. Additional responsibilities include guiding students in their academic and professional development, contributing to departmental meetings, and participating in research and academic activities on site.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Psychology, with the ability to effectively teach undergraduate courses in the discipline.
Proficiency in Curriculum Development and designing innovative, student-focused learning materials.
Experience in University Teaching and classroom management.
Proven ability and experience in academic Research and publication in peer-reviewed journals.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and mentoring skills.
Ph.D. in Psychology or relevant field (candidates with a Master’s degree and significant teaching/research experience may also be considered).
Commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive academic environment.
Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and digital tools is an advantage.
