Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in general education and high incidence disabilities.
- Develop and teach courses related to behavior analysis and the CABAS model, as well as mentor and supervise students.
- Supervise practicum and residency experiences.
- Advise students and hold 10 office hours per week.
- Serve on department, college, and university committees.
- Participate in program development and accreditation processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (local schools and school systems).
- Provide service within the university, to state and local educational agencies, and to relevant professional organizations, including training for CABAS schools.
- Engage in research and publish in scholarly journals in the field of behavior analysis and education.
Qualifications
- A terminal degree (PhD) with advanced expertise in applied behavior analysis, research methods, and teaching.
- A doctoral degree in a relevant field such as behavior analysis or education.
- Familiarity with data analysis and behavior assessment tools.
- A CABAS professional rank of master teacher or above.
- BCBA certification.
- Certified to teach in a P‑12 setting.
- 3 years of successful teaching in the P‑12 setting as demonstrated by evaluations.
- Strong communication, mentorship, and organizational skills.
