About The Role
We are inviting applications from qualified and dedicated professionals for faculty positions in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. The role involves contributing to teaching, clinical services, research, and academic excellence, based on experience and cadre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver lectures and clinical training to BDS and MDS students
- Perform and assist in oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures
- Supervise students, interns, and junior faculty
- Conduct seminars, case discussions, and academic sessions
- Contribute to research, publications, and conferences
- Maintain academic records and ensure proper documentation
- Ensure compliance with Dental Council of India (DCI) guidelines
- Mentor students and support departmental academic growth
Qualifications:
- BDS + MDS in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
- Valid registration with State Dental Council
Experience: (As per DCI Norms)
- Assistant Professor: 0–3 years (Freshers are encouraged to apply)
- Associate Professor: Minimum 4 years as Assistant Professor
- Professor: Minimum 9 years teaching experience post-MDS (including 4 years as Associate Professor)
