Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Tărtășești for an Assistant Educator specializing in children aged 3 to 6 years. The Assistant Educator will support the lead teacher in planning and delivering lessons aligned with the Montessori philosophy, supervise daily activities, and ensure the well-being of the children. Additional responsibilities include fostering a collaborative learning environment, communicating with parents about student progress, and assisting in special activities such as language lessons, yoga, and creative workshops. The role also involves helping to maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in managing communities of children
- Background in Education and Training with a focus on Montessori or similar methodologies
- Strong Communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Proficiency in supporting activities like foreign language instruction, yoga, and creative workshops is a plus
- A passion for child development, patience, and creativity
- Ability to foster a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating educational environment
- Formal training or certification in early childhood education or teaching is desirable
