opportunity has opened for a dedicated ASC Teacher to join a brand-new all-through special school in Feltham, Hounslow, from September 2025. This
purpose
-built school is designed to meet the needs of children and young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and related
communication
and interaction needs. As an ASC Teacher, you will play a central role in helping students who are often working at or near age-related expectations.

ASC Teacher Role Overview:
Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons that meet the needs of learners with autism and associated needs.
Collaborate with a
multi-disciplinary team
, including therapists, support staff, and families, to implement individualised learning and
communication
strategies.
Foster a calm, structured and
inclusive
classroom environment that supports students learning, regulation, and independence.
Track and report on student progress in line with EHCP outcomes and school assessment policies.
Take an active role in school life, including enrichment activities and team planning sessions.
ASC Teacher Requirements:
Holds QTS (or equivalent) with demonstrable experience supporting autistic children and young people.
Deep understanding of ASC and evidence-based approaches such as TEACCH, PECS, or SCERTS.
Strong
communication
