Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Art Teacher role based in Erbil. The Art Teacher will plan and deliver engaging art lessons that align with educational goals and support learners at different skill levels. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and updating art curricula, preparing lesson materials and demonstrations, and teaching techniques in painting and related visual arts. The role involves assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment. The Art Teacher will also collaborate with colleagues on events, exhibitions, and projects that promote creativity and visual arts within the organization.
Qualifications
- Strong teaching background with skills in Teaching and Art Education.
- Experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development for art or creative subjects.
- Practical artistic skills, particularly in Painting and other visual art techniques.
- Ability to create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment and manage diverse learner needs.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working in educational institutions, art centers, or workshops is an advantage.
- Willingness to participate in school events, exhibitions, and continuous professional development.
