Role Description
The Aptitude Trainer (Freshers) will deliver engaging classroom sessions focused on quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and verbal ability to college students preparing for placements. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning lessons, creating and updating training materials, conducting practice tests and doubt-clearing sessions, and tracking learner progress. The trainer will collaborate with the training team to align content with current placement trends and company-specific test patterns. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai.
Qualifications
- Strong quantitative aptitude and logical reasoning skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and step-by-step.
- Solid command of the English language, including grammar, vocabulary, and reading comprehension, with effective classroom communication skills.
- Ability to design structured lesson plans, prepare practice questions, and use simple examples to break down complex topics.
- Comfort with classroom facilitation, including handling large groups, encouraging participation, and managing time effectively.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office or similar tools for creating presentations, worksheets, and reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; coursework in engineering, mathematics, or related fields is an advantage.
- Interest in training and mentoring students, with a learner-focused mindset and openness to feedback.
- Willingness to travel to partner campuses in and around Chennai when required.
- 2026, 2025, 2024 Passed out freshers preferred.
- Willing to travel PAN India.
- Comfortable for teaching and training.
